China Stands Ready to Join Hands with ASEAN Countries in Addressing All Kinds of Security Challenges
11月7日下午，國(guó)防部新聞局副局長(zhǎng)、國(guó)防部新聞發(fā)言人蔣斌大校就近期涉軍問題發(fā)布消息。
記者：據(jù)報(bào)道，近日國(guó)防部長(zhǎng)董軍赴吉隆坡出席第12屆東盟防長(zhǎng)擴(kuò)大會(huì)、第15次中國(guó)—東盟防長(zhǎng)非正式會(huì)晤。請(qǐng)問中方對(duì)發(fā)展與東盟國(guó)家防務(wù)安全合作有何期待？
Question: It is reported that Minister of National Defense Dong Jun attended the 12th ASEAN Defense Ministers’ Meeting Plus and the 15th China-ASEAN Defense Ministers’ Informal Meeting in Kuala Lumpur recently. What are China’s expectations for enhancing defense and security cooperation with ASEAN countries?
蔣斌：中國(guó)與東盟地緣天然相連，利益深度交融，始終安危與共、發(fā)展與共。近年來，在中國(guó)與東盟各國(guó)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人戰(zhàn)略引領(lǐng)下，中國(guó)東盟防務(wù)合作由淺及深、逐步拓展，覆蓋高層往來、聯(lián)合訓(xùn)練、人員培訓(xùn)、維和反恐、衛(wèi)勤合作、救援減災(zāi)等多個(gè)領(lǐng)域，亮點(diǎn)紛呈、成果豐碩。
出席此次會(huì)議期間，國(guó)防部長(zhǎng)董軍與東盟國(guó)家防務(wù)部門領(lǐng)導(dǎo)會(huì)見交流，就深化防務(wù)安全合作、維護(hù)地區(qū)和平穩(wěn)定達(dá)成重要共識(shí)。作為好鄰居、好朋友、好伙伴，中方始終堅(jiān)定支持東盟在區(qū)域架構(gòu)中的中心地位，愿與東盟國(guó)家一道，堅(jiān)守和平這一最大的共同利益，發(fā)揚(yáng)和合共生的優(yōu)良傳統(tǒng)，堅(jiān)持對(duì)話不對(duì)抗、結(jié)伴不結(jié)盟，攜手應(yīng)對(duì)各類安全挑戰(zhàn)，進(jìn)一步提升防務(wù)安全合作水平，打造更為緊密的中國(guó)—東盟命運(yùn)共同體，共同開創(chuàng)地區(qū)更加美好的未來。
Jiang Bin: Connected by geography and mutual interests, China and ASEAN have shared weal and woe and pursued common development. Over recent years, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of China and ASEAN countries, China-ASEAN defense cooperation has steadily expanded in depth and breadth, covering various areas including high-level exchanges, joint training, personnel training, peacekeeping, counter-terrorism operations, medical service, and rescue and disaster relief. There have been many highlights and fruitful results in China-ASEAN defense cooperation.
During the meetings, Minister of National Defense Dong Jun met with defense leaders of ASEAN countries and reached important consensus on deepening defense and security cooperation and safeguarding regional peace and stability. As a good neighbor, good friend and good partner to ASEAN, China firmly supports ASEAN centrality in the regional architecture. We stand ready to work with ASEAN countries to uphold peace, which is our greatest common interests, carry forward the fine tradition of harmonious coexistence, champion dialogue and partnership over confrontation and alliance, and join hands in addressing all kinds of security challenges. With these efforts, we aim to further strengthen China-ASEAN defense and security cooperation, build a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future, and jointly create a better future for our region.
