BEIJING, Oct. 31 -- Since October 2025, the Chinese PLA Southern Theater Command has organized its navy and air force troops to continuously strengthen patrols in the territorial waters and airspace of China's Huangyan Dao and its adjacent areas, according to a written statement released on Friday.

The statement pointed out that the patrols aimed to further strengthen control and management efforts, effectively respond to various infringements and provocations, so as to resolutely safeguard China's national sovereignty and security, and maintain peace and stability in the South China Sea.

10月以來，中國人民解放軍南部戰(zhàn)區(qū)組織海空兵力，持續(xù)加強(qiáng)黃巖島領(lǐng)海領(lǐng)空及周邊區(qū)域戰(zhàn)備警巡，進(jìn)一步強(qiáng)化管控力度，有效應(yīng)對各類侵權(quán)挑釁，堅(jiān)決捍衛(wèi)國家主權(quán)安全，堅(jiān)決維護(hù)南海地區(qū)和平穩(wěn)定。
