BEIJING, Oct. 28 -- The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Hong Kong Garrison conducted a joint patrol drill on October 27. The drill tested the troops' combat capabilities in emergency response, rapid planning, emergency deployment, joint operations, and contingency handling.

北京10月28日電 10月27日，中國人民解放軍駐香港部隊以緊急拉動方式組織聯(lián)合巡邏，檢驗部隊應急反應、快速籌劃、緊急出動、聯(lián)合行動、特情處置等方面作戰(zhàn)能力。

This joint patrol involved high-mobility infantry troops, combat vessels, and aerial patrol helicopters, focusing on rapid deployment of command post, maritime and aerial patrol, joint sea area control, as well as emergency rescue and repair.

此次聯(lián)合巡邏涵蓋陸上高機動步兵、海上戰(zhàn)訓艦艇、空中巡邏直升機等兵種，重點演練指揮所快速展開和籌劃指揮、海空巡邏和聯(lián)合海區(qū)管控、應急搶救搶修等實戰(zhàn)內(nèi)容。

During the joint patrol, the garrison troops strictly abided by the laws and regulations of Hong Kong regarding roads, waterways, and aviation management, and notified the relevant departments of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government in advance.

聯(lián)合巡邏過程中，駐軍嚴格遵守香港道路、航道和航空管理等方面法律規(guī)定，并事先通報了香港特區(qū)政府有關部門。
